WEEKEND: Nov. 1
What? Yep. That's it. That's all I documented the whole weekend.
Why? I was working, mostly. I got up early Saturday and Sunday mornings to write (doing some freelance stuff for a book), and most of Sunday was spent fretting over a photo/video shoot at 3:30 p.m. that hadn't factored in the light lost in the switch from Daylight Savings Time, nevermind the weather report (snow, wind, rain, C O L D).
This weekend pace might not let up much for awhile, but I have a plan. That's what these radish tops represent to me. I have to take extra care to take care, to make things easy for myself. Like washing the vegetables before I put them away; scrubbing that toilet while I'm still feeling good after a glass of wine from dinner (yes, I really did that on Friday night). It's nothing to do these things now, and everything to have them done later. I can't do good work otherwise.
All this plus an understanding partner, a cuddly cat and swig of Bragg's apple cider vinegar will surely get me through this winter. I'm going strong, so far.
