Saturday Sentimentalist

From the president of The Sentimental Club, a weekend round-up of heart-warming things:

1. A reminder in my coat pocket from my last metro ticket purchase in Paris this past June.

2. "Don't Call This 12-Year-Old Pianist a Prodigy" - a feature I listened to on my drive to work that made me cry a little.

3. This Christmas ornament kit, created by one of my favorite kindred spirits of the blogging world, Alicia Paulson. She's been making these kits for the last six years, but this one is perhaps the best because it reflects the big change in her life this past year with the adoption of a sweet baby girl.

4. I love it when Preschool Gems pops up in my Twitter feed.

5. Found this gem of a cookbook from 1957. I love these illustrations. Sourdough doughnuts! Well Done Bananas!
