Summer Journal: Week 11

Tuesday night featured a walk to the store through the neighborhood, with a quick stop for an impulse buy of Swedish Fish (his) and Laffy Taffy (hers). It was then that I spotted this most inviting nighttime porch. I want to sit there every evening.

Utility boxes (?) with curly moustaches - another night shot, this time in downtown Spokane, after a burger dinner in the basement bar at Churchill's.

Out of the darkness and into the light. By Thursday, we were in Sonoma! I ate some of these pictured grapes.

Before an afternoon of wine tasting, it was a morning at Train Town, for the kids.

Sebastiani was a perfect place for a little picnic. And, well, wine tasting.

And then we went to Ravenswood.

I love these little side-building courtyards (this was somewhere around Sonoma Square).
And then, the rest was celebrating.

So much fun to share in their day.
Back to walks in the old neighborhood.
