My Brandy Alexander

I'm making a few boozy gifts again this Christmas, and one of them called for brandy. Not the whole bottle, of course, so we ended up with most of a bottle of brandy.

One night, Joel made us these terrific Brandy Alexanders.

Creamy, chocolatey, nutmeggy. They do go down easy, so be careful.

Brandy Alexander

makes one drink

1.5 oz. brandy

1 oz. creme de cacao

1 oz. half and half (we used heavy cream with decadent results)

1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg

Place liquids in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with nutmeg. Listen to this pretty little song and have a lovely evening.
