Chicken sitting

For the last couple days I've gotten to take care of some chickens and kitties while their owners, my friends, are out of town. It's a tremendous relief to walk into their backyard each day after work and find all four chickens still there, safe and sound, just pecking away at bugs, greeting me with their low and rattly coos.

And it's awfully nice of them to take care of breakfast for me.
