#26: Go to a zoo

I got to cross this one off the list by going to Zoo Boise. This place has really grown since last I was there in, oh, maybe 1989? I loved it there, both then and now.

In the butterfly garden, they tell you to pay close attention to where you walk lest you squash one of these beauties. They were everywhere, in all different colors and disguises.

The goat section, where kids can feed kids.

This tiger relocated to a spot near some of his tiger friends. We got the impression that they do a lot of napping.

 Meerkats are among my favorites.

So are ginormous tortoises.
